A combination of state-of-the art sprite engines and animation controllers along with high quality interface design make CDplayerª easy to use and responsive.  The chapter/paragraph metaphor allows for modeless end user control and the use of Òdigital actorsÓ to help tell the story.  
	There is an Index that gives the user instant access to media segments as well as provides a linked map of what has already been seen and what is left to see. The introduction segment can be as simple as a custom image or as rich as a video prelude. Currently, CDplayerª supports both Macintosh and Windows formats on a single hybrid CD-ROM.   In the near future we expect to support every major CD recording format and television set-top platform available in the general commercial and consumer markets.
